عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ “‏ لَوْلاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ ‏”‏

Tirmidhi 22

Abu Hurairahؓ narrated that: Allah’s Messengerﷺ said: “If it were not that it would be difficult on my nation, then I would have ordered them to use the Siwak for each prayer.”

Pleasing to Allahﷻ

Abdur-Rahman bin Abu’Atiqؓ said: “My father told me: ‘I heard ‘Aishaؓ say, (narrating) from the Prophetﷺ: “Siwak is a means of purification for the mouth and is pleasing to the Lord.”

Narrated Hudhaifaؓ that whenever the Prophetﷺ got up at night, he used to clean his mouth with Siwak
